I grew up in the same neighborhood, going to school with the same friends. Then in 1987, the beginning of my high school senior year, I met the boy who would become my husband. Sean walked into my Drama class; I thought he was soooo cute, while he thought I was (gasp!) a cheerleader! We became friends, then we dated. In 1994, we married. And on November 20, 1997, we bacame parents with the birth of our son, Ian.

I attended UCSD, majoring in Psychology. Workwise, the last job I had (where I actually got a paycheck) was as the Customer Service & Office Manager for The Tulip Company, a medical supply manufacturer. I met some wonderful people there, and learned WAY too much about liposuction!

These days I'm a stay-at-home mom. About half the week, my almost-3 year old niece, Samantha, spends the day with us while her parents are at work. During quiet times (whenever those are), I'm a Message Board Leader for iVillage/Parent Soup. I host New Mother's of November '97 Babies, Parents Living with Parents, and Parents of Only Children. Basically, my days are pretty full!
